We all want to have pictures of our kids at various stages of life, from that adorable first smile to their first day of school, their marriages, graduations, birthdays and everything in between. We all have a few precious years when a child isn't capable of ducking behind anything and doesn’t mind squeezing out a smile here or there. And we certainly don't want any important gaps in the photographic family timeline do we?
As our kids get older their cooperation to participate in anything ‘photo’ related is becoming a challenge. I will often hear the words ‘Why do you have to take photos of everything?‘ to which I reply, ‘My photos are my memories, precious snippets of the most important people in my life whom I love with all my heart, I am proud of each and every one of you, I’m sorry if annoy you but I love you so, so much. I wonder how long those words will work for? So in the future if you see one or even two of our kids missing in a photo, you will know why!
